My first day here I got yelled at for not calling after being at the medical place for over an hour ... apparently ... after an hour of being at my appointed place of duty, I am supposed to call back and let them know that i am still there ... I got a counseling sheet for this, Recently I had Barracks Duty, which is 24 hrs and you are then given half a day for Duty Recovery. Never once in my 3 years of service have I asked to go for my recovery. As a PFC, LCpl in Japan, I always just didnt come back after chow. Here in CA, I've had 3 duties so far. The first 2 went by uneventful, I didnt come back after lunch and it was no problem. This last one, I had on a Thursday so my recovery was on Friday. I do the usual, go to chow and dont come back and I then get a phone call saying that the Sgt wants me back at work in cammies. I get back to the office tired as fuck and pissed ... and come to find out she's been telling our SSgt that I have not been doin my job, which is complete and total bullshit. I got here to California from Japan and the "report" that I work on was 72 pages, and I've worked it down to 42 in about a month ... little less ... I'm gonna talk to my SSgt about this, she's fucking baby sitting me and I dont work well with people like that. Cliffs: Silly Sgt doesnt like me, she's fat and ugly.
