    Hi everyone.

I started out as being around 6'2" and 120lbs. Yes, I was skinny as hell. It's hard to imagine that I could possibly even survive with that weight. I HATED being skinny like that. I just hated it. My metabolism is just so fast that I can eat practically anything, and really get away with it. In the past year I have been lifting about 4-5 days a week. I have been eating healthier and trying to fit as much food in me as I possibly could. I've gained about 20 lbs, and it's been practically all muscle as far as I can tell, but I'd say any gains are wonderful.

    Here's current:

Here's me two years go. I am on the left:

Have I done well? It's just SO hard for me to gain weight by eating...I literally just eat whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like, and it does nothing to me. Some people are just so lucky.

Nice gains, keep eating. I still think your diet is incomplete.

20lbs in 12 months isnt very much :o

I think so too. I just find it hard to get an appetite. I eat a certain amount and just...can't...go....on. It's frustrating.

i dont' believe all that shit about fast metabolisms....

i'm 6'3.5" and eat approx 3000 cals a day (@ 190lbs), my gut and fat are going away and i'm getting more cut, but i need to eat more if i want to really bulk and gain weight... I'm really not gaining much weight as it is :(

Af, sign up to www.fitday.com, record all your food. Aim for 3500-4000 calories. With 220+g of protein. Even if your not hungry, eat to fill the stats.

Skeletor, your getting pretty strong, iv been checking our your log :o 3000 calories isnt too much tho, i feel hungry most of the time on 3000 (my apetite has gone through the roof ever since iv been working out). Shouldnt you be on closer to 4000?

    ....

    3000 cals?!?!

jesus. no, i am pretty sure that metabolism makes a difference. my parents were both skinny until somewhere AROUND my current age, and then got a bit heavier. my dad is 240lbs and 5'11" :\

he used to be skinny when he was my age!

I'd go streight on 3500+ cals.

    3000 is semi cutting.

Um...no. I've always loved food, it has just never made me fat. It's genetics--my parents were apparently the same way when they were young, or so they say.
