Picked up an HK USP (Compact) 9mm today after spending three hours at the range with a variety of different firearms. Glock 22, 17, 19, Sig 226, 229, Springfield XD (?), and the HK USP. Of all the handguns I shot, the HK stood out as the best fit for me. Pics to come.

    Cool.

I actually shot a USP last night along with a 229, G19, and some Taurus that I can't remember the name of and ultimately decided on the Sig 229 DAK.

Excellent taste. If you want a good deal on a USP check out CDNN they have some kick ass prices on USP's now.

    :wtc: word.

I could get a couple of my to-buys with the cost of a USP.

Yeah, because you gotta be an elitist prick to own/like the USP.

That's a stupid fuckin thing to say. If you don't have the patients to look around and find a good price that's your own fault.

I have USP .45 that I paid only a little over $500 for.

I have only 8 long guns, and only 4 pistols. If my collection makes me an elitist prick then that must make you a gunless moron, because my collection is weak.

The "anti-good gun" guns seem to be getting as bad as the "anti-gun" guys.

Thanks. The recoil is much easier for me to control than the lighter Glocks that I shot. While the Glocks felt good in my hands, I didn't like the additional recoil. This is my first firearm so I'm somewhat still getting used to recoil in general.

In a couple weeks, I'll be shooting a USP .45 that my coworker has.
