It's a good myth and I wanted it so Here are some pics of it in progress. I need the "Belt" and Sword" and then everything will be colored in.

    1st set of stars:

    2nd set:

What the stars will look like when colored in:

My tat is just a "representaaion" of the constallation.

Cool idea. Nautical stars are kind of played out, but it looks  anyway. :bigthumb:

    Thanks.

To be honest I am now really down with the whole scene, I had gotten tats 12 and 13 years ago and hadn't been in a shop since.

I wanted something simple and I like Nautical stars for what they represent.

That is a really original idea man, never heard of anything quite like that before. So what are nautical stars supposed to mean?

They were a symbol of protection and guidance for sailors way back when, because they used the stars for navigation.

wouldn't you want them in different positions like the actual stars, as well as in different intensities? :dunno:

Thanks for all of the compliments, Guys.

We were thinking about different ideas for the sword. The belt will be 3, 1.5" stars.

I decided to fill in what I had before I went further.

I want everything to be symmetrical, thus the reason why the stars are not offset.

    Thanks for the feedback.

With "the belt" added, it makes more of a statement for sure. Before it was just kinda 4 stars, now you have yourself a story:hsugh:

Looks way better now, however, it's not exactly symetrical

Could just be the way he's standing, also remember the body isn't symmetrical, so it's impossible to get a tat that is perfectly symmetrical.
