I'd leave it to the already existing post, but I'm not really into that particular brand of rap (Lil Wayne just annoys me). I guess I have more interest in groups like Jurassic 5 and The Roots. Anyone got anything similar? :)

English rappers Akala and Example are brilliant and upcoming artists that have the more style and flow than many current top 40 hip hop artists, try them out.

DJ Shadow; Jedi Mind Tricks; Living Legends; Deltron 3030.
Make sure you check out DJ Shadow Private Press best album.. but lately hes doing bad and dealing with rappers/MCs and hes music sounds like poop. Cut Chemist and DJ Shadow tear up the stage and make other DJs sound like rookies.

I'd recommend People Under the Stairs, Gang Starr, and A Tribe Called Quest.
