I am a career military member, but found out today that I need another shoulder surgery. Surgery is scheduled for Jan 26th. :wtc: Career hinges on that.

I'm the 4th one. I don't know if i'm going to make the Marine Corps a career or not and I probably won't know until i'm actually in and can decide if I want to do it for 20 years.

career, unless I'm RIF'd as part of 'force shaping' or I'm passed over for promotion and forced to get out.

Sad thing, I could make 2x+ more money as a civilian, my father-in-law is a big wig exec

i'll make the decision in 5 years when my service commitment is up. i plan to do some job searching, but i wouldn't be surprised if i just re-up for 6 more, in which case i would definitely go career.

5 months as of next week left on the only enlistment here. Too bad I lost my EAS Tracker spreadsheet.

Hey, I'm in Yuma too. Not really what I had in mind when I joined.
