    1) I remember a thread I made here about 1.5 years ago asking, "Should I do leg press or squats?" My naivety always makes me laugh a little. I remember this as I start my front squats after regular squats.

    2) Stickyfinga's post about how leg day is like going out and drinking too much. I remember this as I finish my routine and struggle to walk down the steps.

    :squint: the medium is irrelevant, but rather the idea that's communicated through it (being naive when I first started and the correlation between drinking too much and leg day).

    then I do legs. Usually do a little more than I had planned for some odd reason.

    I HATE leg days. The day of I just dread going in to the gym and I kind of procrastinate with the warming up but I push myself through it. And this is W/O squats as I have no partner. I push myself hard on the leg press and the burning is so intense that I actually feel like throwing up from the burn alone. Crap, just sitting here thinking about the burn on my last reps of leg press gives me a bit of a gag reflex. Plus, I looked like such an idiot last time when I was leaving the gym after legs because when I went to step off the curb I did a spaghetti leg.

    You don't need a partner to squat...sure it helps, but it is not necessary.
