    http://senencito.com/photos/heineken/fantasyisland/content/index.html

the event was the closing of summer, was called Heineken Fantasy Island

some highlights, the capoeira dudes kicked major ass, the music was very varied, a few real good djs and some reggaethon which I know most of you hate :)

and seriously if you guys never had the pleasure to be with a live batucada youre missing out! videos cant really give you the feel of the energy of those performances

Oh and the more I use lightroom the more I love it..its really a home run application from Adobe

    tell me what you think

I can't care. I'm at work :o I'll check at home, but the flame picture is crazy. I need shots like that -- instead of forks and spoons. :wtc:

    First one > this one

The way the crowd glows, the look of the flame is better, everything about the first one is better

In the 2nd one the focus is on the guy blowing the flame and the transition from the liquid to the flame, which I find especially interesting.

I also like the complexity, shadow detail and colors of the 2nd flame better.

but you're right about the crowd glow. I do like that better in the 1st one.

well the glow can be explained easily..I used shadow/highlight tool to try to bring the audience out more :)

it's a BITCH to get the audience showing while shooting a huge ball of fire

what's up with photo 69? guys head looks weird

also - what kind of flash setting are you using? i forgot, you shoot with nikon or canon? wish there was exif data on these

in 69 I lowered the speed quite a bit, and filled with the flash, thats why it looks weird

for flash settings its mostly playing around with bounce and straight flash..sometimes even bouncing of my hand to give it a very warm light..other times of green walls...since it is for heineken green world (heineken guy loved it)

im surprised it doesn't have exif data, I just used the lightroom standard gallery template, and I was shooting with a D200 and a 12-24 and 28-75 tamron 2.8, I also carried a sb-600 and a sb-800 and alternated between them when I was doing fast shoots..im paranoid of burning one.
