Used, with a butler creek folder, for $279.

Financial sense prevailed. I'm going to wait a while longer and if nothing turns up I'll just order a new one for $199. I mean yeah, the stock typically costs around $80, but still. :o

I think you'd probably be better off with one of those hogue overmolded stocks. They are pretty solid and zero flex. While there are exceptions folding stocks generally have way to much flex for my preferences.

Somebody should make a rock solid folder for the 10/22. It would be a very good platform for a folder.

  6. I'd get a new one, and modify it sensibly yourself.

I might have a Hogue and a stainless heavy taper GM tube for sale here shortly if my friend doesn't snap it up.

Fuck a folder unless you are running one of those pocket rifle deals (which I still want).

  9. No problems repeatedly hitting 3" targets at 200 yards today. 10/22s are a ton of fun.

I love my 10/22. $180 when I bought it, like $1100 as it sits HAHA.

I've also decided I'm going to buy the next AR-7 that I see. It was my first rifle (my dad gave it to me for christmas after my 10th birthday).

I got a aimpoint comp m3 w/ larue mount that I'm going to try on this thing. If I don't like it I'll sell the aimpoint and go back to the ultradot. Or I may sell the ultradot. While the aimpoint looks better and goes with the theme "how much money can you put into a 10/22" the ultradot with the polarizer I think might be a better sight for a 10/22

Mine is a Kidd too haha. ;) I opted for the stealth black trigger though.

    What mag release is that?

  21. It's what came with the Kidd trigger. Did you choose a different release when you got your Kidd?

EDIT: It looks like they come with different ones now, mine is OG.

I <3 my 10/22, but the Hogue is not the end-all be-all stock. It isn't rock solid, but it's only $60 and works just fine for 99% of 10/22 applications.

I think it's a powers custom mag release. I think it's been discontinued and it came with the kidd triggers at the time. The new trend is to have those lever style release that you activate with your strong hand middle finger made popular in the chevy sportsman challenge (competition where you shot 22 rifle, pistol and shotgun in a timed team event. Kind of like a relay race, really cool).
