So yeah, I get crushes all the time but haven't actually liked someone in a long time. :eek3:

Now this guy comes along in August, his stuff is pretty damn good and I hire him right away. We talk photo (he's an equipment geek just like me :bigok: ) and stuff and go our own ways. We continue this up until last week where he dropped by my place to drop some stuff off. We sat and talked for an hour, I gave him a ride back and he invited me in where we talked about stuff for another hour or so.

Honestly he's perfect: he's smart (graduated from MIT, doing his master's here), has the same interests as me (photo, mountain biking, etc.), a really nice guy, down to earth, 5'11", ran cross country (read: runner's body :yum: ), has the most soulful brown eyes.

So yeah, he never mentioned an old girlfriend or anything like that but I still don't know if he's gay or not and I can't tell if he's just being really friendly. He's been friendly enough to make me wonder though. Second, I'm kind of technically his boss so that could bring up issues too. If I had a female boss who hit on me I'd feel really wierded out/uncomfortable too and I don't want to put him through that.

So yeah OT, what should I do? :hs:

"diction" is his accent in his speaking voice.

You can't hear that in an email. Do you mean "grammar" or "spelling"?

Anyway, you need to just come out to him now... not in a nervous way, just in passing let it drop that you suck cawk.

Then, he'll know... and then let him make the next move.

Sooo, I was gonna point out the 'diction' thing, but now no need. :wiggle:

I agree with Sam. When you are in the driver's seat in the workplace, ie the boss, you need to play safe and tread light... You need to put the ball in his court without making him feel that he HAS to make a move. Sam's idea to nonchalantly come out to him, like by maybe referencing an ex boifriend in a particular situation. Planting your seed in him, you give him the option to cultivate it, letting something grow and develop.

:nono: diction is his word choice and as dictionary.com says:

    1. Choice and use of words in speech or writing.

And how the hell do I casually drop that I love the cock :dunno:

I'd be perfectly content being his friend. But if he happens to love the cock as well...

    In general...
However, as a writer, I know that 'diction' has another meaning in creative writing...referring to the use of words, including range of vocabulary, the choice of wording, word order and style of use. But whatever........

As for how to drop the information about your sexual point of view, maybe reference his cologne, or shoes, or a particular shirt and say something like 'oh, my ex boifriend used to wear that', and if you wanna flirt a lil, you can add '...and I luved it on him'. ;)

Very good point there, but make sure that you say that around him while you guys aren't at work. Things tend to go a little further outside of work and it might work out for teh both of you.

    Why does it sound whorific?

Its not like I'm just trying to hook up with him? I honestly like him, not just think he's a hot piece of ass :dunno:

If I thought he was just a hot piece of ass I would have, in graphic detail, described the subtle nuances of every curve on his body :naughty:, not talked about his eyes or the fact that he's so damn nice :hs:

So I dropped the hint today, didn't know if he heard me or not.

There's a sports shooter convention in LA in November...I told him about it and he signed up for it...I'm gonna drive down with him and he's staying at my house :eek3d: :mamoru:

Ehhh, I'm kinda over it, I don't want to fuck up a friendship so I'm gonna keep it strictly platonic :hs:
