  2. Not to sound like an ass or anything, and I don't know the environment you're shooting in but it looks like the same result could have been accomplished by bouncing your flash. I was expecting the people in the background to be lit up since you're using PW's. :o

i really don't understand why you felt the need to get sb-800s if you were using pocket wizards in that fashion

283s and 285s have asstastic recycle time, but a few battery packs can fix that for much less $$

    No, can't bounce light there.

well I mean you could, but it wouldn't do anything.

The people in the back at ~15 feet away.

I must be misunderstanding what PW are for ... I thought they were to fire your flashes remotely?

If thats the case why do you have one if you have a D200 (with built in flash commander) and and SB800?

  20. cool shot, but doesn't require pw's. Just use off shoe cable and have the flash down on the floor or between your knees

You can't have the lag of slaving when shooting skateboarding.

Are the pockets much better than those cheap Ebay remote flashes? All they're doing is sending a signal to the flash to fire, I don't know what would justify the extra money. :dunno:
