Think, turbocharged Accent, for under $15,000 USD...

200 horsepower, could be easily acheived. Even if the suspension is extremely unrefined, and the interior is shit, people will buy it cos its powerful. It will get them sales and respect. The very cut price Golf GTi

It might not be a 'classic' performer, but hell, i'd consider one.

    Do it hyundai.

it would need bigger breaks, beefed up suspension, and load of other shit, then end up costing 25k

    your not thinking very hyundaiish.

Do it on the cheap. Even if its compromised, people will modify it when they buy it. Just get it out the door, with a strong gearbox / engine combo. 200 horsepower, for $15,000 USD.

    I wouldnt buy it :dunno:

But its like winning 13k even if u only get 13k for it.

If you keep it it costs you money. I'd much prefer to just drive the evo.

I think they rooted you by giving you the 5 speed. the 4 speed would sell much better. Not to mention the colour.

    :werd:

Im suprised by this. In one of the magazines over here they tested the new HSV VE Clubsport (the ls2 brother of your future G8), the 07 STi, 07 EVO.

Suprisingly, the 2.0L engine in the evo used the most fuel, followed by the 2.5 in the rex, closely followed by the 6.0L V8 in the HSV.

I know why, but it just goes to show, engine capacity doesnt = fuel consumption.

(btw, the Evo won the comparison, but its apples vs oranges imo).

I'm willing to pay for it as much as you paid for it when you got it.
