Wow, I thought I had worked out hard in the past.... clearly, I know nothing.

I joined a new gym in my area last week, and the owner seems like a cool guy, there is no pool, aerobics room, ect... and no long contract, and 30 bucks a month, I liked it. I joined up, and the owner said he'd give me three sessions to help me get started again.

To make a long story short: I got fucking owned. I feel totally different right now an hour and a half after the workout compared to how I normally feel, or have ever felt after a workout. I'm totally drained. The jumping jacks between sets towards the end, and the crunches really were the icing on the cake after I was already dead worked from the strict form he was making me keep with all the squeezing and number of reps.

Do any of you guys like this training? How have your results been? I'm getting back into lifting, and I gotta admit, I want to get in better shape, but I straight up got my ass kicked today. It's going to be hard keeping on this program I think. When I got home, still light headed and dizzy despite drinking a ton of water throughout the workout, I immediately thought about RC when he said "Everybody wants be a bodybuilder, but don't nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weights." Fucking amen.

The dude helping me out is a really fit big guy, claims he was in the top five powerlifters in the world at one point (Don't remember when he said) and is about to have his doctorate in a field related to lifting. I can't remember exactly what he said the field was. He seems to know alot, and could breakdown and explain anything I asked without hesitation.

So now that I've rambled on about my pussy hurting, I just want to hear some feedback on this method. I feel totally worked and I could see this really taking me to a level I've never been on before. Thoughts? Thanks :)

any moron can make you feel like you want to die after a workout, you have to rate them on your results. i could make you throw up and black out in a 20 minute workout but that doesnt necessarily its going to do anything for you

seriously he should not make you feel like you are dying your first workout, you have to have some time for adaptation to weight, volume, etc,

I think that's more to help me out with cardio since I don't have a dedicated day yet. I don't know. He seems like a knowledgeable guy. He said at 203, he was 705 on dead, 705 on squat, and 450 on the bench. He's a little smaller than 203 now, still chiseled.
