hyper transport vs none

    well, Im thinking about switching to a socket 939 for dual channel, and was wondering whether I should also change my CPU to have hypertransport. I currently have the AMD 64 3k+ w/out HT. Just wondering if its worth it.

    64 bit = hypertranport

    uh...mine is 64bit and it doesnt have HT

    unless your a photoshop maniac or use multiple cpu intensive apps..

    you got nothing to worry about

    I'm almost absolutely sure that all athlon 64 processors have HyperTransport Technology

    That's like having a working flashlight w/o a bulb... Doesn't make sense. Or for another analogy, it's like wiping before you poop...
