im a noob to the cardio and training with my intro muy thai class. how much time before class starts should i actually stop drinking water? is there such thing as too much water before pushing myself in a physical activity? i have also drank too little. at the end of class I stood up and had that head rush/dizzy feeling. not good times

where are you training at in SD?

really hydration should be common sense. I don't like to drink a lot before gym time cause i dont want to have to unwrap my hands to take a piss. Go into class like you normally would (hydration wise), and make sure to have a big bottle of water in your bag and chug water when you can during class. This will keep you hydrated without risking pissing yourself during body shots.

I usually drink a bunch until about an hour before class and I've never had problems with dehydration, even when we wrestle in the hot room.

i'm lovin it, although i have nothing to compare it to. the staff members are pretty cool and the atmosphere is pretty chill, especially for beginners like me. also, it's kinda cool to rub elbows with professional athletes that I see on TV. pretty much almost every day I see Brandon there

been at boxing club for a fair amount of time now. I'd like to train at und1sputed but the location just isnt great for me, and i cant stop getting injured, so changing gyms isnt really a great idea. PT Loma is just way to slammed with traffic to consider for a gym.

what are you looking to train in?

i dont know much about it. Its funny cause almost all the gyms in SD are really good compared to the rest of the country.

I like undisputed a lot. I just liked the gym, the manager was a dope guy, and it smelled awful and was humid as fuck. things i prefer personally.

really pick on cost and location, you can always change schools down the road.

yeah, i came in to check it out and the manager was offering me an amazing deal, I just am always coming off of injuries now (tore something in my groin, and just recently my left hip), and I am scared to join a new gym with new people that might not know my limits with my bum hip.
