Lately I've been feeling hunger even after I eat.. that, and it includes bloating! I've never experienced this type of problem before so I don't know. I've been searching around for an answer the only thing I found is that I might not be eating enough protein and carbs.

I eat regularly, and no matter how little, how much, or just how right I eat, the hunger is still there after I eat. I'll eat and then five to ten minutes later I'll feel hungry again.

I'm hoping maybe someone might be able to help me with this?

This feels like the right forum to post in under... might be caused by some malnutrition or something related. :o

    ... because I just ate?

Isn't it a bit unhealthy to eat and then five minutes later, just eat again?

sometimes feeling hungry can be confused for other things. Try to stay hydrated.
A lot of medications cause this, you taking anything new?

Yesterday I had a cup of low-fat strawberry yogurt for breakfast, had a 16oz cup of coffee.

For lunch I had pouched chicken breast with fettuccine and alfredo.

For dinner I had one medium sized home made burger with lettuce, tomato, and ketchup.

After drinking coffee I drink water.

I started taking Tylenol daily because of my neck and shoulder pain that just started recently. That's about the only medication that I've taken this week.

I swear to god I thought I've been eating enough.
I guess that explains the hunger.
What about the bloating? Could it be caused simply because I'm hungry?

Drink a looooooooot more water. Also, are you a bit of a chronic/emotional/boredom eater? Maybe you're having a hard time differentiating between hunger and just the urge/craving to eat :o

I've never really experienced the emotional/boredom eater. When I eat, I usually either portion out my food or listen to my body. Like instead of over stuffing myself, my tummy will say, "I think I've had enough. Please, no more stuffing your face." And I'll stop.

I drink 16oz of water every 1-2 hours. Is that too little?

Your diet looks like it's around 1500 cals.

Are you a 13 year old girl? If so, maintain that diet.

You are a girl if I remember correctly?

1500 cals isn't too low per se depending on your weight, BMR, etc. etc. :dunno:

For some people that would be enough to lose weight, for some that would be maintence, for some that would be too little etc...

I would find a calorie calculator and figure that out, I think there is a good one in the Nutrition sticky. Maybe it is that you just aren't eating enough :hsd:

    Yes, I am.

I'll check it out, and thanks.

I always thought listening to your body telling you to stop eating was good enough. I guess I'm wrong.

Well, it is but it isn't depending on your goals.

If you can maintain your weight [or lose or gain or whatever you want] doing that then do so. If you're having an insatiable appetite like you are right now then that's probably not the best thing to do because you'll probably gain weight. Or, you may not just be eating enough calories which is why you're hungry and if you ate a little more you wouldn't be having this problem :dunno:

Well, on a serious note, there could be many things affecting this. Let's assume that you are eating enough food to sustain your weight, (so you're at maintenance calories)

    1. You eat 3 meals a day. Try spacing your meals closer together, and eating smaller portions, though that may be hard for you at the calories u are eating now.

    2. You are a powerlifter.

    3. You might actually have an eating problem/disorder

    4. This may be the outcome of something else in your life, i.e. depression, which may cause people to eat above maintenance

If this persists to where it is uncomfortable, and you are absolutely sure that you are eating enough, i would consult a doctor.

:ugh: the OP is a fucking girl you dolts. that may be just fine for her bodyweight/activity. it may not be.

to find out if you are eating based on what your goal is (fat loss or whatever) then eat the same amount of cals per day, everyday, and check your weight in a week. find what your general baseline is then you can adjust calories easy to lose or gain weight. no calculator will replace this method.

Girls eat smaller portions and I would guess that your taking in closer to 1100 calories daily....maybe less. LF yogurt may have 80cals and i wouldn't even count coffee. That leaves you with 2 meals that are around 500 to 600 calories each. What you eat later in the day probably changes but the yogurt and coffee are staples, right?

Try to have a bigger and better breakfast. Now you're up to a consistent 1500 cals. Starting your morning off right can affect your mood the rest of the day. Eat the yogurt as a snack whenever you get these hunger pangs.

Just a quick fix. Keep reading up and you will find many more meal choices :bigthumb:
