Hunger in the Middle of Night?

    Ever since I started upp'ing my meals to 5 a day, I've been waking up hungry in the middle of the night usually around 3 AM when I go to bed at or before midnight.

    Anyone else experience this?
    Should I be eating certain kinds of foods on the last meal?

    I was hoping for a solution where I wouldn't wake up hungry in the middle of the night or is that unavoidable?

    lol, i wake up in the morning hungry as hell. but never have i woke up in midsleep to say to myself, i could go for a double whopper right now. maybe you should eat more on your last meal?

    TMNT2 was the shit. I remember playing the game over and over. I've tried eating a lot and I still get hungry. I'm wondering if I eat certain foods that that would help. I know that I have either a really high metabolism or some body dysfunction. :shrug:

    i think it weird of me for waking up hungry, but yea if you dont mind the whole waking up thing, just wake up and eat, then go back to sleep ftw.

    It bothers me. I do eat a small snack, but it takes me awhile before I do fall asleep. Just wondering if anyone else goes through this or has a solution. Thanks though.

    Unless you're cutting, just eat something. If you *are* watching the calories- I keep sugar-free jello in the fridge at all times for midnight snack attacks. That, or drinking something non-caloric usually quiets my tummy enough for me to go back to bed.

    Man I'm hungry ALL THE FUCKING TIME after finally giving in to the 6 meals a day... It's never enough to give me that "full" feeling, so even after eating I'm still not satisfied.

    Porridge is good at 8pm ish, then if I go to bed at 12ish I don't get hungry.

    Just eat ~10 minutes before you go to bed? Like some cottage cheese and healthy fats

    i eat fruit when i get hungry right before bed, i really hate going to be with a full or heavy stomach

    casein digests very slowly so cottage cheese or a casein blend protien before bed ftw
