I'd love to have one. I don't like normal trucks but I think ones like the H3T and Jeep JT concept are pretty cool.

i wouldn't mind having one...windows are still too small to see out of though. too much $$ for me to get that when I could get a few other things and even have some leftover money to trick them out.

Cute but I'll keep my Taco. Better wheeler for California, and much better on gas too.

they actually offer the offraod package with front & rear locking differentials, 4:1 transfer case and 33 inch tires and even beadlocks i think. not sure about the beadlocks.

this can very easily top the tacoma in offroading :o

4:1 would be a typical rear-axle ratio.... but not too common in stock t-cases....

The tacoma, for example, is 2:57:1.

and do the same with the nissan frontier and the frontier wins over the taco. Plus the frontier costs less.

Wrangler Rubicon (4:1) for example. Not common no, but out there, and I've never seen a 4:1 rear axle, always 4.1:1 or 4.11:1 because it has to be one of those to be a hypoid type gear design.

VQ40DE chain guides suck. Had 2 broken in a month and its over $1600 to fix cause Nissan labor is ridiculous. I was just in that market between Nissan and Toyota and Nissans are just alot worse from a mechanic's perspective.

engine vs engine, the VQ40DE is better than the 1GR-FE. Toyota has more aftermarket support in the suspension department, but stock for stock, you get a better truck with the Frontier.... and for less money.

The engine may have better numbers for performance but is of poorer quality. The interior of Frontiers suck, the seats are crap, and the ride quality is poor by comparison. Yes its cheaper but you are getting what you pay for.

But the VQ that is in the truck is not on that list... by your reasoning the 1GR is just as good since the 2GR is on the list.

the VQ35DE and VQ40DE are remarkably identical save for displacement.

the 1GR-FE is not like the 2GR-FE. Just the same as the 1/2/3UZ-FE motors are very different from each other.
