    Im having to listen to stupid shit like this on another forum:

    Which is worthless to consume.

    There are no studies that have ever shown that much protein to be beneficial. Even in endurance athletes and other sports, that much protein had no more effect than the person taking .7g protein/day.

    If you can find peer reviewed articles that can prove me otherwise, I'll change my mind; everything I've read on the subject has reiterated the fact of excess protein supplementation being worthless.

    I used to drink 3 protein/water drinks a day too until I started looking into it more. Considering over consumption can lead to kidney problems later in life and increased adipose tissue, I'll stick to my 1 shake a day.


    Anyone have some good literature readily available for abomb? This is ludicrous

    if that's true, how the fuck are you supposed to hit certain daily calorie levels (whether bulking or cutting, or maintaining) with less protein. that means you gotta up the carbs and/or fat.

    consuming anything over 1.5g/lb of bodyweight of protein has been known to cause bellybutton dysplasia
