I think it takes 10cc's of air to actually kill you, you should be ok.

I mean on the pull back (checking for blood), not injecting. Usually I get suction, but not this time... I just pulled back like I was sucking back air

Whenever I aspirate I have a couple of small bubbles get bigger which is common but never seen a huge air bubble before.Nothing painful either but I'm guessing you tried to remove as much bubbles as possible beforehand by flickin the syringe and trying to push em out.

:werd: the only way you should be able to pull air out is if the pin wasn't correctly attached, the pin wasn't all the way in, or the syringe's plunger didn't seat well.

And where exactly are you going to pull a huge air bubble out of a muscle?

I don't use terumo pins and as far as I know the pins I've seen in hospitals and been prescribed are BD.
