How would I ad a login and password field onto my website that would login to another website. For example, say I want to creat a field that would automatically log me into Gmail, but not from the gmail login page from a login field on my own website?

I don't think .htaccess does what you want it to. The only thing with passwords that it does that I know of is password protecting folders on your site (so, if you wanted it so that when people went to www.yoursite.com/protected, it would have the username and password popup).

But to do what I think you're wanting to do, yes, you'd have to program some PHP.

Though, if you're not sure how to program, I doubt that source will help you much. It's really for people who just need syntax information more than "how do I program" information
