Really good game actually. Normally I cant stand the HS stuff I go shoot but both of these teams are pretty good and the place was packed. The crowd was really getting into it to. Stuff like that makes it a lot more fun to shoot.

It was close the whole time but in the end Eastern blew it by fouling unintentionally twice and putting Jtown up by 5 instead of 1 with only 9 seconds left.

AF stuff resolved with the new camera?

I hate to say it, but 12800 with the 5d2 was a ton cleaner than 6400 is with this set. I never realized how clean that camera was... wow.

9 and 10 are both awesome. 10 is hilarious.

if the white team won, 10 should be on the cover of the paper with 'Get that shit OUTTA HERE' as the tag line.

Whats all the noise about? wait, its just adam. :big grin:

They look good, even at ISO 6400. And like Jared said, amazing difference between the 2 cameras.

Great timing of shots. The noise is bothering me though.

Huge noise difference between the cameras. I thought 12800 on the 5d2 looked better :hs:

These havent had any NR done either. Im going to run them through Noiseware and theyll probably be on par with 12,800 from the 5D2. Ill post up the comparisons so you can see. I think Noiseware does a pretty good job.

Yeah. It was nice, but it just didnt do what I needed it to do. Yeah the images were beautiful, but if I need a camera to take beautiful pictures, I already have the 5D. I was needing the 5D2 to take the place of the MkIII.

The ISO was great and the AF tracking was solid BUT!....that was only once it locked on. It just took a little bit longer to acquire focus than what I was used to. If you had the time to find your target, lock on, and start tracking, then you were fine. With the MkIII though, its so quick that its almost like its reading your mind. Ill take a small hit in IQ (and a big hit in MP) to gain that back.

    Live and learn :hs:

I guess if you need the af speed it can't be helped. But I do miss the images that were coming out of the mkII. Also, I think the noise is chipping away at the focusing advantage that the 1dmkIII is giving you. I'm curious to see how much the NR helps in post.
