OK. So, I had a job a few years years ago and the company ended up going out of business. I'm now looking for full-time work and I've got a GREAT job lead, but, don't have anything to prove I worked there(iternship)

Here is my problem. The new prospective employer needs something outling what my salary there was. Something like an offer letter or similar. I don't have my W2's so that's not an option.

Can anyone think of a solution? I was thinking I'd make a generic letter from them to... say... my mortgage company confirming my salary when I was shopping for a mortgage.

:werd: don't you have paystubs? If not, don't you at least have bank records to show your direct-deposit?
