hp dvd Driver not on the web

    Hey girlfriend has a HP dvd writer 400c and has been having some troubles when trying to burn a cd through itunes. i think its the driver, soim trying to find a driver ont he internet but it doesnt exsist. the hp site has it lsited but has hp dvd writer 400i and hp dvd writer 400e or something...so i'm leaving it to the masters of ot :bowdown: :)

    You don't really need dirvers for a CD-ROM drive or a burner. I think what you may need is a firmware update for the drive if you are having issues.

    site, and for some reason when i click on it i cant download it.

    actually, most burners do require some form of a driver. Nero and other burning programs install a universal one when you go through their setup. I think it's made by Adaptec.
