How's this when cutting?

    Chicken Chili in a can, 99% fat free.

    2 serving in a can, and the total numbers for an entire can are:

    Cals: 380
    Carbs: 54g
    Fat: 2g, 0 saturated
    Protein: 34g

    I think it's a good deal..

    doesnt sound too bad but how many grams of carbs a day are you going for while cutting? that seems like a lot for one meal

    I'm not really worried about carbs at this point.. as long as my protein is at 1g/lb and fat isn't much more than 25%, the rest I fill with carbs.

    High carb is probably better when cutting to keep glycogen higher and utilize insulin better. It still comes down to calories. That chili looks good to me, but beware: a lot of that protein is from the beans which are incomplete protein.

    It does, it's just not the highest quality.

    For instance, 54g of pure chicken protein is better for you than 54g of pure bean protein.

    How do you count your calories out? fitday says some number, wonder if its accurate.

    :dunno: i ended up gaining my 17" arms back... bench is still hella lower though. Need calories..need energy.. but i'm bulking till apr 25th so i've been vaccuming down food. Just had Soviet style chicken egg and mayo (light) salad. :yum:

    Olivye is one of the best things to happen to russian food. Galubtsi are even better.
