Hey Everyone! Just wanted to see how everyone is :wavey:

Things have been great here, a little stress here and there. But this has been on of the best weeks of my life. The greatest part about this week is there is no one reason why I am so happy.

    Everyone have a great day!

Overworked at the moment. I always want more time to do things and I think the only way to fit everything in sometimes is to not sleep. Hmmm...

But, I'm going to see the Smashing Pumpkins tonight with a good friend of mine so I'm excited!

And I'm sitting in Barnes & Noble, working on hw, as they play xmas music, and that reminds me of family and the holidays. Even though I don't think they should be playing xmas music before Thanksgiving...

    :wavey:

Nice! Smashing Pumpkins was the first concert I ever went to. It was 11 years ago- 3 weeks before Jimmy Chamberlin overdosed and Johnathan Melvoin died. It was an amazing concert! Hope you have a great time!!

Life is really tough over here, but I just loaded my Christmas music on my ipod and that makes me happy :big grin:

I remember my parents telling me about that after it was in the paper: "you listen to THIS??"

This show was postponed because of Jimmy's "medical condition" so I hope that it was truly a cold or something and not another drug problem...he's too old for drugs.

As a lurker, I don't expect many of you to know me, but who cares! since we're on the topic of how everyone is doing:

Overworked and stressed out from my engineering department. Talking to a counselor about my relationship problems and shyness -- trying to get me to be a little more outgoing and help me understand why I shield myself.

But, I leave for New York from Virginia Tech in about 3 hours, so I'm happy as hell to get home and see my family, my friends, and my new cat ^.^

    Hi folks!

Well, on this end, deadlines are approaching for me and I hate deadlines. Sometimes it makes me feel really sluggish and feelings of dread washes over me. *sigh* I really don't like deadlines but they're a good thing... right?

I love work, but sometimes the things I do are just so taxing and repetitive and nothing new or interesting ever comes out of it. Sometimes they don't give me enough and then sometimes they give me too much, never really a happy medium. But I guess that's life though, lol.

Three more folders to go, then I'm done with this stupid thing! Then again, what's coming up next is flushing data out T-T

Life is pretty good. Work is stressful, but pays well enough that I can spend money like it's burning a hole in my pocket and still not worry about bills. So I guess I can't complain too much about that. Finally dumped the ex for good a month or two ago and have been dealing with anger and loneliness, which kinda sucks, but I'm optimistic about actually finding the right woman next time around. Going to therapy helps. :)

I saw them 2 nights before that happened. Blew my mind a bit.

I'm reading "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" now. Enjoying the read, very eye-opening. It's helping me look at things from a different perspective. I've always been blaming my poor situation on everything and everyone but myself.

I think it's time I realize and accept, that it's me.

And I wouldn't get too worked up. You'll learn that eventually.

I have waaaaay too much schoolwork to get done in these last 2 weeks of school, it's killing me. I don't know if I can handle it, it's just too much. I'm trying to write a damn paper for 11am tommorow too :hs:. Obviously I've hit a block since I'm on here, I'm trying to clear my mind but it doesn't seem to be going so well.

I'm a wreck. I'm currently working on my thesis. Part of it requires me to conduct a survey, which is incredibly difficult since I get really nervous when I have to approach and talk to strangers. I have to conduct 100 interviews in less than 1 month. I would probably fail the subject and repeat.

. I used to be really nervous in high school. I just cannot stand up in front of people and present a project! But, with time and experience, you'll get used to it. I hate having to talk to strangers and I started to work in a children's clothing store. I worked directly with strangers! It was really hard at first, but with some time people were coming in and I'd be like Hello! Good morning! You just have to find comfort in meeting new people. The worst thing they can tell you is that they don't want to be interviewed. Besides that, they are human beings just like you. Best of luck! :)
