yep its not really bout milage, but maintance that's crucial on bikes. a 15k mile properly maintained bike is a hell of a lot better than a 6k mile bike thats been neglected.

Dont listen to these fucks, just get whatever you want. You dont have to be stupid. no one is going to twist the throttle but you, you have the control over the bike so just be safe.
I started on GSXR1000, rode it for 20,000 miles never went down. my younger brother started on 900RR never laid it down. bunch of other guys I know started on 1000s and have never been down while riding, but most of us have gone down while stunting.
So again get whatever you want and be safe. wear your gear.

Uhh, yeah, thats some good advice. :ugh:

You happen to be one of those people who does not panic. A lot of people when they panic, they freeze and crash. It's gives you a lot more time to regain your self when you ride a slower bike.

No doubt, if you like track better than stuntin, thats good I have no problem with it. I like road course too matter of fact I never even thought about stuntin till i got the chance to do it with some buddies who are pros. I was all about road course and drag. But now that I am stuntin I find it much more challenging and fun than any other sport.
All these guys call us stunters squids and shit. they kinda look down on us and say they would never do it. But that fact is that its not that they wont do it, its cuz they can not do it. maybe they are old FUCKs or just have no BP skills or maybe they have NO BALLS.

Can you do 12s? Can you actually do high-chairs?

I'm guessing no and that you are really a stunting sack-rider... GTFO.

you have to take into account who has owned the bike. I have a friend that is a mechanical engineer that works for Boeing, he's had many bikes, some over 40 and 50k miles that were in pristine condition, physical appearance and mechanical, and he sold them at a very nice profit.

But if you're buying from some random guy on the street that says he's just commuted with it, or ridden it in the canyons on the weekends, and it has high milage, i wouldn't go with it.

why spend all the money on a machine to stunt ... its a waste of motorcycle IMO, not what they are built for. Why not just buy a cheap BMX bike??

do whatever you want sure, but most stunters like to do their shit in the middle of town, where on many occassions they lose control and end up putting their bike into someone else, etc ... the reason that stunters are looked down upon is because alot of them (not all) have no common sense and don't do their thing in a private area, or they rarely wear proper gear ...

i'm in ful leathers, no matter how hot it is ...

When I'm on my bike I get as far away from town as I can, where there is nobody, I can't stand the "townie" riders who just cruise down the "strip" all day hoping everyone sees them.

My favorite is when one of them asks to ride with me and my buddies, we just roll our eyes and say sure ... they last all of 10 minutes then go flying by (on a straight), doing their wheelie because they could keep up with us ... we just point and laugh and continue to ride our machines the way they are meant to be riden.

I'm always looking for a stunter to crash his bike so I can buy it off of them to turn into a track bike ... (=

Rock 12s ALL STOCK GEARING <remember that.
The only reasons I mentioned all that cuz these FUCKs keep rippin on stunters. They always look down on us. Im sick of that shit, anyone can ride the bike and lean it, but can you scrape it.

One more thing this sunday, R4L is having a freestyle stunt/bike show at Manuel Motorcycles in Akron, OH. I WILL BE in BP freestyle. If you are from northeast area, bring your skills or STFU.
