What are your thoughts about it? (this applies to anyone who's seen it or has heard a little bit about it.) Not a great fan of Spirited Away, but this is the second time a movie's opened up in the US.

Because it allows disney to be associated with something with any sort of redeeming entertainment quality now that Pixar will be out of their hands

I want to see this over the weekend. Miyazaki's films always kick ass.

just got back from seeing this... it was very good... not excellent, but very good indeed....

absolutely gorgeous animation, plot was good (though it felt a bit "narrated" at times)...

the "experience" as a whole though was quite enjoyable... wish they'd release more Anime to the big screen, it's always nice to see it that way.

Big miyazaki fan since I was a kid. Favorite miyazaki film used to be My neighbor Totorro, now its Princess Mononoke.

Anyone notice that miyazaki has tree themes in a lot of his films? Castle in the sky, My neighbor totorro, Princess Mononoke, there were also the petrified trees in Naussica if anyone has seen that. I cant think of anymore.

don't download cam rip of this movie. :ugh:

I thought it was really good. But if you don't like Miyazaki type stuff, you're not going to like it.
