How would you consume 370g of protein a day?

    If I eat 3700 cals per day and 40% of that comes from protein (40% protein/40% carbs/20% fat), what's the best way to get 370g of protein?

    2 cans of tuna = 65g
    4 scoops of whey = 80g
    32 oz skim milk = 32g
    8 oz. ckn breast = 68g
    1 can navy beans = 25g

    I'm still 100g shy of 370g. :hsd:

    According to fitday, 8 oz. of "Chicken, breast, with or without bone, broiled, skin not eaten" = 68.9g of protein

    Kroger brand tuna in water = 13g protein per serving. Each can has 2.5 servings.

    I just looked at my boneless skinless chicken and it says 4 oz = 22g of protein

    My Tuna has 37g... its the smallest kinds of Tuna cans they sell too.

    15g per serving / 2.5 servings per can.

    Its "Albacore Solid Fancy White Tuna" Meijer Brand... about $1.09 / can I believe.. tastes good too.

    You don't necessarily need 370 grams of protein :dunno: If you're bulking, which I assume you are on calories like that? It would be easier to get 1.5g/lb and fill the rest in with some easy to eat carbs.

    But then I have no clue what you weigh so 370g might be 1.5-2 g per lb.

    negative... boneless skinless breasts (the big ones) usually have ~45g protein.

    370g especially when bulking isn't required.

    Here's my numbers from http://www.stevenscreek.com/goodies/calories.shtml

    * Resting (basal) metabolic rate: 1867 calories per day
    * Typical daily activities: 770 calories per day
    * Calories burned from Running: 571 per day
    * Calories burned from Cycling: 1225 per day
    (these numbers don't reflect any time spent lifting)
    * Total calories burned: 4433 per day

    3700 cals / day puts me at a 733 cal deficit. I'm not saying that the stevenscreek numbers are gospel, but they seem fairly accurate.

    I'm 35, male and 175 lbs.

    Where is your eggs? I eat 5 whites 3 whole scrambled in the morning, starts me off with around 50 grams of protein.

    So even 2g/lb of bodyweight is 250 grams of protein, and that's sufficient for bulking. I'd say don't stress about it. Are you really running 5 miles and cycling that much every day plus lifting?
