Had any problems? Like getting along with the other soldiers, your NCO or somthing else?
my first 5 months were at the replacement fighting the doctors that tried to chapter me for mild hypertension...soo it was annoying as hell. i got along with most of the soldiers around me
after arriving to my unit...i loved the first 5 months...then it started to suck as my job was given to a civilian and i became a DFAC officer
first 5 months was fucking gay.
after 5 months in the canadian army you're still in training
What have you been up to lately? Got in as Int officer?
nah, told you I wasnt finishing college
I wanted int.op but now you can only transfer from reserves, so Combat Infantry
After spending 9 months of BCT/AIT around Drill Sergeants, it sucked.
I got to my unit and all was gravy.
I spent the first 10 months or so in training. When I got to my unit finally, it was much easier. I was the new guy for a bit, so I was harassed daily, but that eventually wore off. In the early part, I would suggest that people STFU, learn as much as they can, and then pick on the next wave of new guys with ferocity.
hey guys, this is what happens when you go signal like we did.
Yeah, exacty. They play the usual tricks on you.
I'm Signal, 9 weeks of Basic, 9 weeks of AIT, and 2 weeks of leave....
It was pretty cool in the beginning, the NCO's the unit had were laidback and left you alone as long as you did your job and didn't bitch. It's not hard to figure out....I wish I could go back to the first 6 months of my service.
Are you a 25L?
after basic it sucked for aabout 5 months, that felt like a year, then i got moved to a psd platoon and it has been great ever since.
25D.....I went before they merged both 25D and 25B.
Ordnance in a shitty wannabe signal unit...ftl
