my dad tore his forearm on a stubborn generator last week. he's got a bruise from his wrist to his elbow and a knot and alot of pain.

doc says theres not much they can do about it but i was thinking they should be reattaching it? maybe they dont do that for forearms?

anybody have experience with a torn forearm? tips and tricks for recovery that doc might not be giving him?

i think they were mainly for tennis elbow type injuries but soeone said they were also great for forearm tears.

tell him to try to avoid lifting anything with that arm. theres no way to really speed it up, some people recommend icing/compressions...if its a minor tear it will health within 3 -5 weeks. Im recovering from having a torn intercoastal muscle, abs/ripcage, and its a fucking bitch, 3rd week now, getting much better . just gotta relax and take it easy...
