    A disgruntled employee reisgned yesterday.

Today "someone" sends out a random e-mail to many members/users of our company ( a large part of our contact list) saying that our company is shutting down. etc...

so we've sent out an e-mail explaining that this shit isn't true. And the problem is basically taken care of, in that no one is freaking out anymore.

But, I wanna find out who the fucker is. I dont wanna point fingers at this guy beacuse i dont think he's smart enough to do it.

He must have used some kinda 3rd party program, but how can i find the exact IP address of the computer he sent it from?

    Can anyone help?

The mail headers include a good bit of information. Get a copy of one of the emails and it'll have the information.

Unfortunately, it's very easy to obscure this.
