I've got big legs, but they're muscular and smooth. Except my inner thighs. I need to tone/develop muscle here while I continue running 12-15 miles per week. I never learned what exercises developed which muscles when I was in the gym, so now I don't know. Help without being mean?

I used to bike as a hobby and when you do few miles per day, your legs will get really big after a while :hs:

My av is so small you can't see it!
Im gonna start doing squats wider, my innerelgs are falling behind everyhtign else. Wider squats = just wider stance? Or also pointing feet more outward?

    Are you a girl?

12-15 miles a week isn't much. You should be able to fit that in easily around 2-3 full body lifting sessions, which would probably work best for you. Are you running for sport or just for cardio?

If you bike up long steep inclines for a long enough period of time (months) you can develop a small amount of size in your legs.

Quite honestly, within a 4 month period of starting out as a fresh cyclist and comparing to the 4 month period of starting out doing squats for the first time ever I had better size gains from cycling (but I do feel my legs are very predominantly slow twitch fiber oriented as I took to running long distances quite easily compared to the struggle squatting has been for me). After that 4 months, it wasn't practical to increase loading from cycling as I was able to with squatting and my legs eventually became bigger than they ever were when I was cycling.

Of course this is "anecdotal" evidence at best based on my personal experiences of taking up cycling for one year before I ever squatted and then giving up cycling the next year when I began to incorporate the squat. Previous to these years I had neither squatted nor cycled but I did plenty of long distance running (some days I would run 3 miles but most I'd run 7-12 miles). My legs were at their smallest as a runner.

Sounds like s/he just needs a weights routine in general. I'm not getting the impression they lift at the moment.
