I'm hoping someone will have some advice on this... I've lost a lot of weight (90 lbs.) in the last six months or so. I've been working out very hard, and have also been taking protein supplements (mostly why protein). Nonetheless, in the last month or so, I've started losing a lot of hair. My doctor says that this is a natural response to losing a significant amount of weight, and also to majorly adjusting my diet. And that there's nothing I can do about it until my body decides that "this is the new normal". I know it's somewhat vain, but I'm female and my hair is important to me Anybody have any ideas on supplements or diet changes that might take the edge off? Maybe biotin (and if so, how much)? I'm taking in about 1200 calories a day, mostly protein and vegetables. Very low carb, very low fat. I'm also taking multivitamins, iron, calcium and B12.
