    let me just mention that i have never squatted before but im skinny as fuck and i think it has alot to do with my skinny legs...ive been going to the gym for about a year, nothing too serious and i got a little stronger but nothing much (bench like 115)...i weight 140 lbs

    anyways, i needs tips and proper form on how to squat, i bet i couldnt even squat the bar alone properly :hsd:

    i'd probably kill myself if my benching after 1 year in the gym was 115 :hsugh:

    That's pretty damned mean, but there has to be something going on if you haven't improved over 115 in a year. Hell, just on noob gains alone you should be up higher than that if you weren't a complete and total twig starting out.

    What does your diet and lifting routine look like?

    how the hell do you only bench 115 if you've been working out for 1 year? seriously...if you can't make decent gains after 2 months, you need to start doing something else.

    i'm just sayin' though. not trying to be a dick to this fellar or anything, but if i see that i'm not getting ANY decent increases after a while and i'm seeing people with massive gains, wouldn't that make me wanna change up my workout style a bit?

    then again....a lot of it might be pure ignorance. i don't think i've seen ANYONE knowledgeable weight trainer not tell someone that they need to squat and deadlift.

    My starting bench when i FIRST started lifting was sub 100lbs (95) i was probably a buck and a quarter or so for weight...in a year i added almost 100lbs to my bench #

    yea i know its pretty weak but i dont know, i guess im just not eating right, the first 2 months i gained like really alot, i started on the machine at like 50 lbs and gained all the way up to 140ish on the machines in the first 3 months, but then i guess i just stopped?

    and plus i dont workout like a routine, its just i try to go to the gym as often as i can and dont really do my shit properly i guess :/:/

    plus school n shit, and i know this is gonna sound emo as fuck but my gf and me split and i didnt eat right for like a fucking week and lost like 8 lbs :/
