I was interested in a domain, contacted the webmaster and this is what he said.

I wanted to use the domain for a message forum and half of the things don't apply to me. :noes:

Any experiences on leasing domains? Probably not worht it if your running a message board with no members currently and no clue if it will monotize, correct?

I'm guessing leasing = he wants you to pay to build up the value of the domain name for him.
