how to remove this mark

    so my mom barily ever washes her car, and when i did wash it for her, i found this mark (picture below) ... its been there for quite a while, im thinkin over a year :ugh: ... i tried to claybar the left part of that picture that is showing, spend around 10 minutes on it but all it did was flatten it, and it doesnt seem like it is going any further :wtc: ... anyone have any other suggestions on how to remove it? :hs:

    looks like tree sap to me, unfortunately I have no idea how to get rid of it :hs:

    How bout an adhesive/tar remover type product?

    Rubbing alcohol should take that off. In all probability, you will be left with some etching if it has indeed been sitting on there that long.

    Either that or mineral spirits. Definitely polish and rewax after.

    how exactly do you apply the alcohol, i put it on a towel and was scrubin the marks down with it.. didnt look like it did anything with it, still looks teh same :(
