Well first off let me say on the software side I'm new to this all, but physical I'm not. This past week, I had to take apart my laptop and take everything out to get to the motherboard to replace the AC Jack. :hs: So, I know how to do alot of thing, but I'm not sure when it comes to reinstalling windows / deleting everything.

I've checked ALOT of guides online but I'm confused as hell. FIRST OFF, let me say.---

+ I don't have any WINDOWS install / Recovery CD's or Product Keys.
+ I have two external drives, I have saved everything I need to [file wise]
+ How Can I keep my software, [IE] Adobe Master Suite? :hsd:

Anyone know how to do this, my computer is running about 60GB / 104GB hard drive with EVERYTHING deleted for ALL users? Makes no sense. Programs gone as well.. Also it runs shit slow for a duel core.

howd you get adobe master suite on there in the first place? if its legit you should have a copy of the cd and the serial handy. if it's a cracked copy reinstall and re-crack (i won't get any more specific than that)

and like the above poster said, your primary concern will be to get a copy of windows for your particular series of pc and reinstall. you can order them from the manufacturer for $30 or so. then reinstall drivers and you've basically got a brand new computer. reinstall your programs, relocate your my documents folder/my pictures and all of your prons and fap til the sun rises over ohio.

Yes either download it or install it from your imaginary CD.

And when you do get your windows install CD boot from your CD drive. Some computers are already configured to boot from the CD drive first but many aren't. Some computers have a boot menu (it will say something like F12 BOOT MENU when you first turn it on) otherwise you may have to go into your BIOS and change the boot order. Make your CD drive the first boot device followed by your hard drive.

Boot from the CD and once the setup program starts format your hard drive (it has instructions) and keep clicking next. It's not that hard.

The only tricky part for some people is installing drivers. If you got your computer from a big name manufacturer like dell just go to their website and put in your model number and/or service tag.

Thought OT would have came through. :o It was simple, I just held down F10 at boot up, and did a factory re-install.

    :bowrofl:

seriously though, just get the installation disc, put it in, reboot (make sure your DVD drive is set as first boot device in BIOS), and then follow the instructions on the screen.
