It was easy for me, just watch out for some of those springs. They can be a BITCH to find after launching out.
Putting an AK together next week, we will see how that goes. Going with the black look, stock set came in today.

Damn CA with locked mag, you other states are lucky.

Installing it was a little annoying as it was a VERY tight fit. I have not shot with it yet but it seems to work well. Im going to trying to find a metal rod I can weld or fix to a key ring though as I dont really care for using a bullet.

Dropping the mags makes it much better though, just need to buy a few more mags. Watch out with some Bushmasters, some people are accidently receiving 6.8 mags which are allowing like 12 rounds of .223.

    That's a goddamned tragedy.

Seriously, from what I hear, so long as you don't modify a different mag for another caliber that happens to fit into your weapon and happens to be able to feed >10 rounds of another caliber, it's legit. But maybe it's just too much of a weasel maneuver for the po-po and obviously bored DAs in your state.

    money :hsd:

I figured I could either build AKs or I could get a 240z soon...I chose the 240, mostly cause my current car's (Audi A4) tranny is on its last legs.

Plus, kits then receivers ensures I get the stuff before they run out.

Also, range trip that saturday, and I need to watch hoss fail at IDPA.

I found filing the button annoying also. I installed 3 of them. The last one, I just completely filed it down so that I didnt need to hammer it in. It works like the first 2 :o The button just giggles ever so slightly. :hsd:

It seriously takes less time to break it down, clean and reassemble the complete weapon.

Cool vid. Wish I had it the first time I put one together.
