    I play tennis/squash/racketball quite often
It can be a 2 hour cardio session and I don't generally eat in between matches to avoid throwing up
any idea about how to time playing and nutrient intake to minimize damage
I eat immediately after in order to minimize losses
on the plus side, I am cut to shit no matter what for the most part
    thanks

I don't think it will be bad as long as you have a good diet with enough protein and get enough sleep.

2 hours of not eating isnt going to hurt, IMO. As long as you are taking in enough calories pre-and-post match, I dont see what the big deal is.

Lets see pics of "cut to shit".

just with anything else, proper nutrition takes its part. If you're eating properly and accomodating to youre intense workouts you should be fine. For the most part you want to make sure you're hydrated for something liek that.

gatorade and water. Throw a power bar or some bar of some sort in you. Trust me you wont throw up. Or a nanner.

Playing tennis does definitely burn some of the muscles. Tried something different last weekend sipping on Gatorade from a mix and it seems to have deterred that effect. I guess we'll see when I hit the weights this week.

Tried eating the "proper" diet prior to playing many times and non of that worked for me. Wonder how many of the prior commenters really play tennis.

Drink a protein right after, or after 45 minutes if you plan to go longer.

Protien and carbs immediately after. Increase overall calories.

    thanks

my other concern is that i usually finish at 9pm and I am in bed by 11. I hate the idea of eating alot before bed due to it being converted to fat. Is this a realistic problem? I am generally really hungry after and could eat a lot more than I generally do because I know im going to sleep

if this is something you think that is funny or if you think this is a hoax, you should be ashamed of yourself. i can guarantee if you say that in public, people are going to kick your ass. on top of that, this is the prime reason why men are labeled as arrogant jackasses and you are the leading cause of it all, so next time you look in a mirror, think how much it would hurt to have your eyes gouge out and your tongue sheared off, cause quite frankly, i would do so.
