What's the proper way of measuring different bodyparts? I'd like to see a daigram or something. I measure my biceps with them flexed at the largest part- that gets me 18 1/4. But if I measure with my arm out straight, not flexed, it's only around 16 inches +. Which is the proper way? What about measuring forearms?

They always grew easily- my triceps moreso. But someone once told me that you're supposed to measure them unflexed- if so, I've been doing a lot of lifting for not a lot of returns

I kind of thought it was bs, because all the books liek Flex show the pros measuring them flexed. I dunno- is there a definitive answer?

measuring relaxed muscles is gay and pointless.

i would measure biceps when your arm is at a 90 degree and at the biggest point...

That's what I thought too. My forearms should be measured the same right?

Thats what i'm not sure about, there was a thread last night and at the point i read it there was no conclusive answer... i always measure forearms extended and flexed, but i guess it would be logical to measure them when your arm is in the same position as if you were measuring your biceps...

Forearms are to be measured when the arm is straight though.
