I'm a pretty active guy, I strength train 5-6 days a week, and work my abs 3 of those days. Well my body has been developing well BUT I can't seem to lose my love handles.Ughh...What can I do to help them go away quicker? Also, I don't do cardio very often(and this may answer my own question), because I don't want to burn away the muscle I have built.

    Thanks guys...

maybe you should burn off those love handles first before worrying about burning off the muscle you build.

im wondering the same thing for myself, but I think my 6days a week of lifting + cardio should do the trick after a while

yep, can't spot reduce love handles.

just gotta lose fat all over. So your lifting schedule + some cario + a good diet will eventually get rid of them.

Well I'm eating healthy. Only complex carbs, 200+ grams of protein, 100 oz of water or more a day. Im just wandering if what I should do more cardio or not...

    Thanks

Strict eating with lots of protein and low fat, at a calorie level lower than maintenance and maybe add some running to your routine. :dunno:

I think you should spot reduce them. Also stimulate the growth with the shock thing they sell on TV. It has worked miracles for me!

I had the worst love handles, still do. I am built but then you look at my waist and it's like wtf :ugh: I was a size 40 at 225lbs and now I am between a size 36-38 at 215lbs. All I can say is just lift, diet, and cardio. I lost most my weight in my legs, and the last place I lose it is the handles. It just takes patience and lots of hard work.

Go to the store and get some Capsazin-HP. Rub it all over your lovehandles then wrap your torso in saran wrap and leave it like that for the day. You feel the fat melting off.

    yeah, or flesh :eek3:

but really, i've it up and was wondering a few things. i read somewhere that

"too much CGRP and you can actually damage the nerve permanently. Curiously, by permanently damaging capsaicin-sensitive nerves, rats and mice actually get leaner."

how much is too much? is there such thing as too much capsaicin nerve damage? or is that the goal of using capsaicin?
