I installed a few apps like some games and beejive on my first iphone, but I can't figure out how to install them this time with cydia or installous. I've searched for more sources but none of them have had more than one app and usually they just have themes and ringtones. I've searched all over and the only ways I've seen to install apps is to download them somewhere and SSH or synch with itunes. So have they changed how to do it or am I missing something?

From what I've seen, there are still sources out there that have the apps that apple won't allow on the phone, but for the apps that are on the app store and cost money they've cracked down on the sources that provided them, so now you're forced download them like a pirated movie or something (ie torrent, rapidshare, etc).

Just kind of a pita that I can't install apps everywhere :dunno:

Last night I wanted to try out Calengoo (I'm just looking for something to synch with google calendar when I want it to so I don't have to open it in safari) and I'm out of town, so basically I have to wait 3 days to install the app since I don't have (and don't want) itunes on my laptop.

Ummmm...why not set up Google Sync for your calendar?

...Or are you using your M$ Exchange settings for something else currently?

Never heardd of google sync, I'll look into it tonight though. The calendar I have though isn't a gmail account, it's a google account that's set up with another domain (basically it's my first name @ lastname2.com). I've tried some other stuff with google and they haven't worked.

About ms exchange I'm not sure. I have a mail2web but I'm not sure if that's under exchange or something else. I always confuse exchange with enterprise and soemthing else. I only set up that email to sync with email t hough, not contacts/calendar.
