    be ready to fork over some money...good infrared filters aren't cheap.

    I've taken lots of IR with my Sony. R72 IR filter and a tripod FTW.

    those are amazing. I've been wanting to play around with IR but an R72 filter and 30 seconds exposures would suck :(

    Except for the fact that they change the colours completely in the post processing, from red to blue. thats why the colours are false.
