umm i dont think specific exercises would help..you could do crunches all day but still if youre at 25% bodyfat i think ur lovehandles will still exist.

i would suggest trying to clean up your diet and doing some cardio to burn calories...read the stickies and archives i'm 100% sure they explain all that calorie/fat loss stuff :wavey:

I think "Sticky: attn NOOBS - READ THIS THREAD AND THE ARCHIVES BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS" might be useful. Maybe.

burn them off via cardio exercise. You can't do side bends to make them smaller, it'd actually put more muscle there and make them look even bigger.

    You cannot spot reduce fat.

Clean up your diet and start doing cardio. The love handles will take care of themselves.

Nothing widdles your waist like cardio. Do lots of it and watch your diet, but it's going to take a while. I've been running 5 miles or more about 5 days a week for a year and I still have fat on my stomach.

take in less calories than you burn. (bodyweight x 12) is a good place to start for how many cals you should be taking in everyday.

add that with a good weight lifting routine and some cardio and you'll be good.

diet and cardio/exercise...sorry to report but abdominal area and upper thigh/glute are the last places to go usually. you wont see much in the beginning.

maybe because jogging is an inefficient means of losing fat

explain? you're burning calories. wouldnt sprinting have the same end result as jogging as long as you're burning an = amount of cals?

No, because it's not what you burn during exercise that matters—that line of thinking is equivalent to worrying about how much muscle you build during your weight training session. Higher intensity exercise will have a greater effect than low-med intensity exercise over a 24 hr period.
