I broke my phone recently and I'm only 8 months into a 2 year contract. The retail store said I'd have to pay full retail price or buy a refurb which is still way over priced. Any Alltel or other provider people on here that can tell me what to say or who to talk to to get a better price on a phone from Alltel, or where to get a phone online that won't cost me over a hundred bucks that's Alltel compatible?

Yeah, but I was just hoping to not deal with ebay. I just figured that someone at the retail store has the power to say OK we can give you a new phone for the contract price or a little higher.

probably not. you usually have to go outside main channels to get around contract restrictions ect.

You won't because they wouldn't be getting anything out of it. You get a discount on the full price of a phone due to future revenue they will receive from you via payments.
