How to get lean instead of large?

    Hi, I'm new to the weightlifting world, I've checked out the sticky on how to look like a bodybuilder, but I don't want to get brolyish. Is there anything I should do specifically in a workout to get lean and only medium, not large? Help would be much appreciated.

    yea, if you're a beginner, be extremely cautious when working out. if you lift too much, you will look like arnold within 2 weeks flat.

    Its fine to train with as much intensity as you can now. You will see brolyness coming a mile away.

    I remember when I got huge too fast. It came out of fucking nowhere, and then BAM it was too late to do anything about it :wtc:

    You won't get broly overnight, if you use that routine for 2 years, maybe.
