I am currently about 6'0" 190 lbs, and about as cut as i want to be. only thing is, no matter how hard i lift my legs my upper body is much bigger. all the males in my family have wide shoulders/broad chest and thin legs.....i want to bulk my legs up (if i do this i could easily break 200lbs). Should I maybe lift legs twice a week and everything else once, or is that too much?

    Any suggestions??

Here is my leg workout routine:

Squats or Smith machine(whatever one is open)
stand up calf raises on smith machine
    leg curl machine
    hamstring curl machine
    sit down calf raises
    lay down hamstring curls
    sometimes leg press machine

ALL in sets of 3 or 4

I have been stuck at this weight for a while so im gona go back on protein and v12turbo and have been taking a multi (centrum)

    whatever I feel like honestly

usually for quads i hit squats and sometimes leg press and some lunges or extensions... I've been mainly just squatting though
... for hammies I do good mornings, various deads, and pull throughs

I suck at squatting, i have issues sticking my ass out so far, im always afraid im going to fall backwards which usually ends up with me lifting my heels to go forwards which isn't good.

eat well specifically for the 24 hours after you do legs, and don't train anything the next day (have that be your off day). Also, make sure you do front squats, full squats and probably lunges as well.

Too many reps and super sets for real leg growth IMO.

Put the bar across your back like as if Squating and BOW. Like a Butler saying, "Good Morning".

    nice picture choice. :mamoru2:

ok, there was a front squat thread recently, but I can't find it. I tried them out last time I was working out, and they kicked my ass.
I'm having trouble resting the barbell on my shoulders comfortably, but from what I read, that is just a matter of flexibility, right?
How is my back supposed to be during the motion? straight up and down, or straight (not arched) and angled?

The bar hurting your shoulders is a flexability issue. Try to have your hands out wider, it might relieve some of the pressure on your shoulders.
As for arch/no arch in your back, people have different opinions. I like a decent arch in my back, but you may not. Whatever is comfortable for you is what you should do. Just make sure that you keep your head up through the whole exercise. Try to focus your eyes on something a little above head height. Also, when you Squat you should act as though there is a string attached to your neck (between your shoulders) and that string is pulling you up. This will keep you from leaning forward and killing yourself.
