    I'm 17 years old, 6"1ish and i'm slighty underweight according to many charts. i'm 137-145lbs

    Which foods would give me maxium weight gain.

    Not looking to really build muscle just make me look not skinny.

    :x:

    Normal everyday foods for reccomendation would be nice.

    whatever you want, try and make it healthy, ie low in trans/saturated fats and sugars.

    try setting your caloric intake to about BWx18, protein to 1-1.5g/lb, grams of fat to about ~20% of caloric intake (8-9cal/g of fat) and fill the rest of with carbs. these numbers are rough, but they should get ya going.

    In the end, the source of calories don't really matter, (nothing wrong with some fast food), but eating like this is just plain good for ya

    What to Eat

    This is simple. Eat good foods.

    Protein:

    * Fish: Salmon, Tuna, Cod
    * Eggs
    * Chicken breasts
    * Cottage cheese
    * Milk protien isolates
    * Whey-casein blends
    * Lean Red Meat

    Carbohydrates:

    * Vegetables
    * Mixed beans
    * Low-GI fruits
    * Oatmeal/Oat bran
    * Mixed-grain bread
    * Small amounts of protein-enriched pasta

    Fats:

    * Flax oil
    * EPA/DHA
    * Olive oil
    * Mixed nuts
    * Fish oil

    Foods to Avoid

    Proteins:

    * Fatty meats
    * Fatty dairy
    * Most lunch meat
    * Large amounts of milk
    * Large amounts of soy

    Carbohydrates:

    * Regular bread
    * Added sugar
    * Most cereals
    * Soda
    * Fruit juice
    * Bagels
    * Fruit bars
    * Candy

    Fats:

    * Margarine
    * Vegetable oil
    * Corn oil
    * Heated/fried oil

    I like it as a snack while cutting. Sugar free has pretty much the nutritional value of a cup of skim milk. But you don't need to worry about that, because you should be bulking for a while.
