How to convert itunes-protected AAC files to MP3?

    It's not the ideal situation, but you can burn it to CD and re-rip it however you want.

    However, there is a loss of quality doing it this way. Then again I'm not an audiophile so it doesn't bother me :dunno:

    There was one called PlayFair but I think it breaks with every update to iTunes.

    edit: it looks like it isn't being developed anymore

    on a pc theres a program called tunebite that worked pretty well, did this for mp3s, movies etc. much easier and faster than burn/rip
